Library Cards

Library cards are free.

Stop by the circulation desk to complete a Library Card Registration Form.
If you are unable to come to the library, please contact us.

All library patrons are encouraged to have their own cards.  

Library records and transactions are private, and are protected under Vermont Statute, Title 22, Chapter 4, Sections 171-173.

Adult Cards

Adult patrons are automatically enrolled in the OneCard Reciprocal borrowing program, a service of Vermont Upper Valley libraries that allows adult patrons to borrow materials from a wider network of participating libraries.

Teen Cards

Our teen card does not require an adult signature and was created to support Act 150, signed into law on July 1, 2024. For more information about Act 150 click here

Child Cards

Patrons aged 11 and younger require an adult/guardian to sign the registration form accepting responsibility for borrowed materials.

Activate Your Account

Once your card has been created, you will receive an email with information about how to access and activate your account online. Create your online account to put items on hold, renew items, and access our digital resources and services. Here’s how to activate your account:

  1. Visit the Library Catalog
  2. Click “Sign-In”
  3. Enter your library card number
  4. In the password field, enter your PIN
  5. Click the Log in Button

You may (and should) change your password by clicking the change you password tab on the left side of the screen. Passwords are case-sensitive. Need help creating a secure password? Manage Your Account

Check your account online: View due dates, renew items, place holds and more. Check your account now.
Account notifications: Add an email to your account to receive due date, overdue, and hold notifications. 
Have you moved? Please update your address and phone number.
Lost your card? Call us immediately to report a lost or stolen card.
Renew your card: Library cards are active for 3 years. After 3 years, you will receive an email prompting you to renew. Contact us if you need assistance renewing your card.
