A Day in Groton Village – Groton Free Public Library

Annually, on the Third Saturday in June.

We invite you to spend a day in Groton Village! This community event is designed to showcase all that Groton has to offer, and give community members the opportunity to discover the diversity and variety of civic, cultural, social service, business, educational and religious organizations and groups in the Village and region. You can expect entertainment and refreshments, activities throughout the village, from the Baptist Church to the Community Building, with tables and information booths from participating organizations.

Enjoy visits to open houses at the Groton Historical Society’s Peter Paul House, the NEK Broadband Groton Connectivity Hub, and Groton Emergency Services. To make it easy for community members to navigate the village from end to end, enjoy the William Scott Highway Shuttle Bus, with service provided by RCT.

Get ready for summer with a new bike helmet at our Bike Helmet Giveaway! The Vermont Department of Health will be on-site with bike safety activities and helmets for riders of all ages, and information about sun safety.
